History and product line composition
Yahoo was presented at the end of September 2004 with the purpose of placing on the market a modern, fun and innovative children’s juice in the following flavors: orange, apple, grape and pineapple.
In 2005, the product line was enhanced with Yahoo DUO in three different flavors: peach and orange, apple and pineapple, and strawberry and orange. Combining two flavors in the same pack was an innovation in this product category.
With a view to offering something new, at the beginning of 2006 Yahoo COOL was launched, which produces a refreshing feeling after it is drunk. It is available in two flavors: peach and lemonade. At the end of that same year, the company surprised the market with a new drink for children, linked to sports, thus trying to capture a new consumption segment for the brand. Yahoo SPORT contains minerals which help to replace the salts lost after practicing sports, B Vitamins which help the body to recover lost energy, and C Vitamins which help to improve body defenses. Furthermore it is as tasty as all Yahoo drinks and comes in two flavors: Tropical Mix and Orange-Tangerine.
As was to be expected, in 2007 Yahoo launched a new product on the inside and on the outside: a new comprehensive design for the product line and a new formula with no preservatives or coloring agents. It has a new Vitamin complex called Vitaplus x 6 (containing vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D + Calcium), and less sugar but is a lot tastier.
The current Yahoo product line includes the following flavors:

Through a fun communicational strategy, Yahoo is constantly making new launches and conveys to parents the nutritional benefits of the product.
During the year Yahoo appears on the different media, at shows and meetings at which its target consumers are present. |
